10:00 – 12:00 Meet the Artists
Artists will be at their tables just waiting to speak with you about their art, their ideas, and answer any of your questions.  Some artists will be conducting creative sessions starting at 10:15.
 
10:15 – 11:00 Creative Session 1
Creative Drawing conducted by Dessiree Swain.  Dessiree is known for her realism in drawing and painting animals and people.   Meet at the Hofert fireplace area.
Creative Drama conducted by Beth Wheat.  Beth is a professional director, actor, singer and author. Meet Beth in the Green Room.
Creative Dance conducted by Maria Knisley with Evelyn Bruner.  Maria owns and operates the Moonridge School of Dance.  This session may go beyond 11:00 if needed. Meet Maria and Evelyn on the main stage.
Creative Mixed Media conducted by Andrea Raft.  Andrea is a master with mixed media art that tells a story.  Meet Andrea in The Nunnery.
 
11:15 – 12:00 Creative Session 2

Creative Vocal conducted by Glenda Beukelman with Ingrid Olsen.  Glenda, as a performing arts teacher, musician and choir director has a gift for helping others to hone and use their talents.  Join Glenda and Ingrid in the Green Room.

12:00 – 12:50 Luncheon
A buffet lunch will be provided.  Dine with the artists and enjoy lively conversation.  We will be treated to background music courtesy of Teresa Georgi on the piano.
 
12:50 – 1:00 Chair Yoga
Get your mind and body moving again after lunch with some chair yoga and stretching courtesy of Helaine Cross.
 
1:00 – 1:45 Panel Discussion
Several of our featured artists will join in a panel discussion letting you in on some of the behind the scenes information on being a woman in the arts.  Personal stories and challenges encountered along the way will be shared along with some laughs.
 
2:00 – 3:00 Live Performances on Stage

  • Piano and Violin Duet by Glenda Beukelman and Debra Price
  • Dance Performance including a children’s showcase from Moonridge School of Dance
  • Vocal Performance featuring Ingrid Olsen
  • Dance Recital with Maria, Evelyn and the participants from the morning Creative Dance session

 

3:00 – 4:00 Happy Hour
Come enjoy some wine, cheese and music.  Artists will be available at their tables or mingling with the guests.  Live auction and announcement of raffle winners.
